Summary for the week
Another busy week with 116 advisers affected. We have seen over 90 advisers affected by change each week since Jan 1, 2024. Net numbers were down by (-4).

This week, Crown Wealth are down by (-22). Most of the advisers had been appointed earlier in the year at different licensees, hence the net loss of advisers is not so great at (-4).

Key Adviser Movements This Week:

  • Net change of advisers (-4)

  • Current number of advisers at 15,644

  • Net Change of +30 for Calendar 2024 YTD

  • Net Change Financial YTD +87

  • 32 Licensee Owners had net gains of 41 advisers

  • 27 Licensee Owners had net losses for (-57) advisers

  • 2 New licensees and 1 ceased

  • 6 New entrants.

  • Number of advisers active this week, appointed / resigned: 116.

Growth This Week - Licensee Owners

  • A new licensee commenced with 4 advisers. This was a former practice of Fortnum. Details given to our members.

  • Thi Nguyen who owns 2 licensees with advisers, Consilium and Premium Advisory - The new advisers joining Premium Advisory from Crown Wealth.

  • Four licensee owners up by net 2 each:

    • Centrepoint Group, with 2 advisers joining Alliance Wealth, 1 from Bridges and the other from Macquarie

    • Castleguard Trust (Lifespan) picking up 2 from Lifespan

    • Australian Financial Planning Group, with both advisers from a small licensees Nica Group

    • AMP Group with one adviser joining AMP FP coming back after a break and 1 adviser joining Hillross from Zurich

  • 26 licensee owners up by net one each including, Shaw and Partners, Koda Capital, Clime and Insignia.

Losses This Week - Licensee Owners

  • Crown Wealth down by (-22). As mentioned earlier, many had joined other licensees earlier in the year

  • Count Limited down by (-4), with 2 already appointed at alternate licensees.

  • WT Financial Group down by (-3), none appointed elsewhere to date

  • Four licensee owners down by (-2) including Fortnum who hired 2 and lost 4 advisers

  • 20 licensee owners down by (-1) each including Macquarie Group, Politis and Fiducian.
